The siding on our house was damaged from a storm, and we were thinking about getting it replaced soon. The siding on my house was pretty damaged during the winter this year, and we thought it might be a good idea to get it fixed up. However, my wife and I weren't really sure how to choose the right company to help us out. It makes sense that you would want to make sure that they have the necessary licenses to work on your house. I know that I would want to make sure that they have done training to get everything fixed up. We will be sure to ask for that when we find someone.

My husband and I recently moved to a new home and we want to change the siding to match better with the overall look of the house. It is surprising to know that there is such a thing as the Vinyl Siding Institute Installer License, which is important for the manufacturer warranty. My wife and I decided that we will get a siding installed on our roof. With this in mind, I'll certainly limit my search and only consider doing business to a contractor that has this license.

Hi James, yes there is Vinyl Siding Institute, that publishes requirements for a proper siding Installations. For your roof, siding is not an option. Use roofing shingles for that We've been looking for a siding installation option, and I think that being able to get some information would be helpful. I'm glad you talked about how you should get a clearly written estimate for siding installations. I'm going to have to look for a good siding installation company and see what we can find!

That's good to know that a vinyl siding company should have a Vinyl Siding Institute Installer License so they can receive a manufacturer warranty for the product. The siding on my house is pretty old and cracking in some parts so I'm trying to find a company that can come replace it. I'll have to call around and make sure they have that license so II'll know my vinyl siding will have the manufacturer warranty in case something were to happen.
